SERVING AND PROTECTING
LYONS, GEORGIA

Lyons Police Department

Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. I hope you find it a useful tool in doing business with the police department. As the Police Chief, I am striving to build a new and improved police department that the people of Lyons can depend on and be proud of. I intend to work closely with local, state and federal agencies to expand our methods, practices and capabilities to stay informed and to provide increased security in the areas of drug enforcement and homeland security. The police department needs the support and cooperation of the residents to improve the quality of life in our community by reducing fear, preventing crime and enforcing the laws effectively.

I hope you will find our website informative and easy to use. On it, you will find links to resources that will make it easier to pay citations, obtain reports and look up information such as sexual offenders and Department of Corrections inmates. I have also provided my email address so that the public can offer suggestions and comments to help me stay in touch with the concerns of the community.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve the people of Lyons as your Police Chief. I hope with my service comes great satisfaction to every person that lives and visits our friendly city.

Sincerely,

Chief Wesley Walker
